GaNung, Owner
Ever
since Jason was a child, from the first time he could remember
walking into his family's restaurant, he knew the restaurant business
was the path he wanted to follow.
Jason GaNung grew up learning all aspects of his family's New
York City restaurant business, which has a portfolio of some of
the New York Times most award winning and iconic restaurants in
New York City in the last 40 years.
Jason
learned all about the restaurant business working with his family
and moved on to run some of the most successful NYC restaurants
and lounges.
As an accomplished professional in the hospitality industry, Jason
is proficient in all front and back of house operations, as well
as entertainment operations. Patrons are guaranteed to have a
great time at Panama Pizzeria, their food and dining
experience will be sure to far exceed their expectations.
Joe
Martinez, Executive Chef
Joe
Martinez has had a passion for food since childhood. His first
restaurant experience was in a small place called "Capone's".
He remembers being inspired by the chef and his love for food.
From Capone's he began a journey with The Hotel Hershey
where he worked first as a prep cook, followed through with his
apprenticeship and then on to receive his culinary degree.
Before long, Joe was managing 3 facilities within Hotel Hershey,
including the banquet area, the main dining room and Touch
of Vanilla, the more exquisite dining experience.
The Hotel Hershey not only taught Joe about great cuisine
but during his years of dedication he also developed a skill for
ice carvings where he placed in many competitions!
Joe
eventually decided to move to a warmer climate and landed a chef
position at the Panama City Brewery. It was then that
he was able utilize his skills by creating his own specials, soups,
main courses and desserts. He left the brewery when he had an
opportunity to open and manage Floridelphia Cheese Steak Factory
with 2 locations. When the decision was made to close Floridelphia
he had an opportunity to begin a new journey with Panama Pizzeria.
As
the Executive Chef for Panama Pizzeria, he is able to
share many great tastes he has learned along the way as well as
continue to create
new and exciting dishes promising to please while
continuing his passion for the culinary art. So stop in, say hello,
